Harry Gowl '64 said:
Karen was friends with Doug Anderson , Class of 1964 and me, Harry Gowl, also '64. She valiantly and sadly unsuccessfully tried to teach me to ice skate on the Font Hill pond. After falling and dragging her her to the ice several times we gave up and sat by the fire.
