About	r. James S. Davis, Jr. 70, of Mount Airy, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family after a three year battle with melanomas. He was the husband of Josephine F. Cook Davis, his wife of 46 years. Born on January 2, 1945, in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late James S. and Ruby Wereley Davis. Jim was a 1965 graduate of Howard High School. Mr. Davis was a retired offset pressman for Revere Printing. He was an avid golfer and long time amateur bowler, as well as a Baltimore Orioles fan.
Events	Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. - Mount Airy 8 East Ridgeville Boulevard Mount Airy, Maryland The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 PM on Friday, November 6, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy where funeral services will be held at 11:00 Am on Saturday, November 7, with Rev. Lisa Bandel officiating. Interment will take place in Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
