Christopher, age 83, passed away at his home in Walkersville, Md. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio.
He spent his youth in Washington, D.C. and later moved to Savage, Maryland where he graduated from Howard High School. His passion for electronics led him to study at Johns Hopkins University under a Westinghouse Electric Company sponsored education/work program. He was a colorful figure in the Westinghouse labs where he applied his problem solving skills to build components for the Apollo Space program. For more than 30 years, he was a loyal and dedicated volunteer Emergency Medical Technician at Laurel Rescue Squad. He was a Boy Scout leader, avid hunter and fisherman and car enthusiast. His sense of humor and passion for wood working helped him thrive during his long battle with diabetes.
