| About | Herb graduated from Howard High School in 1960 and completed many courses for his career in commercial real estate. He served in the Maryland National Guard. He is also survived by special friends Veronica and Ryan Marani and many other cherished neighbors and friends. erbert (Herb) Patterson), age 76, of Elkridge, died Thursday, January 10, 2019. Herb is survived by his cousin Anne Patterson Wynne Wilson, and was the dear uncle of William Joseph Layman, Jr., Rebecca E. Wise, Richard M. Layman, David M. Layman and John T. Layman. Herb was predeceased by his parents Richard and Lillian Betts Patterson, two brothers Richard and Charles Patterson and his twin sister, Mildred Patterson Layman. |
| Events | A Memorial Service to celebrate Herb's life will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 5805 Main Street, Elkridge, MD on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Grace Church and a reception in the Grace Church Parish Hall, 6725 Montgomery Road in Elkridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Herb's name to Grace Episcopal Church, 6725 Montgomery Road, Elkridge, Maryland 21075 or to the Elkridge Assembly Rooms, 6090 Lawyers Hill Road, Elkridge, MD 21075. |
