Bill graduated from Howard High School in 1953. He met his future wife there and were married for 66 years before her passing in February 7, 2021.
Bill began his career as a machinist in 1962 at the Baltimore Sun papers and retired after 35 years of service.
Bill served in the Army in the Korean War from 1958-1964. He was honorably discharged with an SP4 rank. Bill was devoted to his family and enjoyed motorcycling, hunting, boating, crabbing, and fishing. He loved the outdoors and looked forward to routine trips to his cabin in Potter County, PA. and especially loved yard sales. He could be seen all over Carroll County on Saturday mornings.
Bill passed away at the age of 86 at Northwest Hospital Hospice Care Center.

A Memorial Service was conducted at Grace Bible Baptist Church at 1518 Rolling Road, Catonsville, MD 21228 at 12:00 Noon; with a Gathering of family and friends from 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon; with a reception to follow at the Church after service on Thursday, August 19, 2021, with Rev. Jerry R. Harmon officiating,
