About	William, age 32, passed away, after a five year battle with a rare form of cancer called Synovial Sarcoma. Despite enduring chemotherapy, radiation, Clinical Trials, and two major surgeries, Ben maintained a strong attitude of optimistic determination. He was a model of grit and courage. His family moved to Ellicott City, Md. when he was 3. Ben graduated from Howard High School in 2007, the Rouse Scholars program at Howard Community College in 2009, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Animation from UMBC in 2011. After graduation he pursued his dreams of working locally, enhancing his job skills and making many friends along the way including his Dungeons and Dragons circle. His home was the site of many friends gatherings for game night, D & D, New Year's Eve parties, and outdoor movie nights; and his parents enjoyed being the host home as much as he did.
