Reid Edwin Burgess of Parkton, MD, passed away after a valiant 7-year battle with cancer. Reid is survived by his wife of 33 years, Wendi, and his daughter, Libby.
Born in Ellicott City, MD, on April 10, 1956, Reid was a graduate of Howard High School. He began working at Mid-Atlantic Toyota and ended with a 40-year career at Bill Kidd's Toyota.
He enjoyed sports, automobiles, vintage WWII aircraft, history, cooking, and spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Doris Burgess, of Ellicott City. He is survived by his siblings Sandra Funke (Rich), Deborah West (Bob), Stephan Burgess (Ellen), and Holly Burgess. He is also survived by brother-in-law, Dan Cage (Lynn) and his loving mother-in-law, Judith Cage.
He will also be lovingly remembered by his nephew, nieces, their spouses, and children.
