About	Nancy L. Kornick, 84 of Mount. Airy, Maryland passed away peacefully in her sleep. As a child she regularly attended Sunday School at Emmanuel Methodist Church in Laurel, Maryland, becoming a full-time member as an adult. She was a proud graduate of Howard High School class of 1956. In her free time, Nancy enjoyed watching and feeding the birds in her yard with a special passion for bluebirds and hummingbirds. Nancy busied herself by volunteering at her children's school and would always have a sheet cake prepared for any occasion that would arise. She used her green thumb to grow vegetables to be canned, submitting them to be judged at the Howard County Fair. Holidays were always a special time for her as she loved to prepare large meals for her family which always included a huge assortment of homemade pies and cookies.
