About	Shelva was a graduate of Howard High School, in Ellicott City, MD, class of 1957. She attended real estate school and briefly worked as a licensed agent in Howard County, MD. Later, she went into banking, and was a branch manager at Commercial and Farmers Bank in Ellicott City, where she retired from after 20 years of loyal service. She loved animals; and was a member and contributor to the Humane Society.
Events	Following cremation, services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Shelva's memory to the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158, or at www.hscarroll.org. The Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 66 East Hanover Street, (Bonneauville) Gettysburg, PA 17325, has been entrusted by the family with the funeral arrangements.
