| About | Passed away from a heart attack. :( As a sportscaster he lived his dream. Through his wife and beautiful children he loved his life. His life was so full of joy, his laugh so contagious that wasn't a person who met him that didn't love him. Roger graduated from Howard High School in Columbia and from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, majoring in journalism and communications. He came to WRC with no experience in television. He had been the sports director at WGAR radio in Buffalo before WRC hired him as weekend sports anchor. Roger walked with sports kings but never lost his common touch. He made a difference in the lives of each and every person he met. We will miss you Darrian. We will miss all the things that made you unique: your incredible smile, your boisterous laugh and your ability to warm our hearts and reach our souls. We are all, each and every one us, better for having you in our lives. |
