"Rick" graduated from Howard High School and soon after enlisted in the Army where he was stationed in Wildflecken, Germany. He pursued several career interests throughout his life. Rick was an avid sports fan with a passionate lifelong love for the Redskins. He was a skilled dancer and enjoyed baseball, bowling, fishing, cooking and spending time at the horse track. He had a knack for sharing a plethora of inappropriate jokes, often expressed through his large hat collection. He enjoyed writing poems, submitting and winning several poetry contests through the years. Fondly known as "Slick Rick", he leaves behind a legacy as "The Man, The Myth, The Legend".
