About	AMY WOLF BARNES has started a scholarship fund at Howard High School to honor her brother, Karl Wolf. “He had been in his glory days at Howard playing lacrosse,” she said. Wolf, 32, died of Hodgkin’s disease on Jan. 16. Barnes was 12 when she sat next to her mother at every lacrosse game. Her mother kept statistics while Barnes basked in being the star’s younger sister. “He was my hero,” she said. Her mother, Dolly Wolf, served as president of the lion's Pride, the school's booster club, during Karl's senior year. "He had a natural grace on the field and a tremendous eye for the ball," Wolf said. Karl Wolf graduated from Howard High School in 1984 and did not pursue offered scholarships to play lacrosse in college. Instead, he went to work. Later, he attended Catonsville Community College and studied physical therapy.
