About	Jeannette was married to the love of her life, M. Harvard Whitten. In her own words, "I have had a wonderful life." Jeannette was known for her quick wit and her dry sense of humor, which brightened the days of those around her. As a creative and dedicated third grade teacher at Zippel School, Presque Isle. She was a graduate of the University of Maine, Orono, where she was a member of Tri Delta sorority. She was also a member of the American Association of University Women; Pyerian Club, Presque Isle; and actively involved in Presque Isle and Houlton community golf courses. She attended the Congregational Church in Houlton and Presque Isle. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Ktorides of Athens, Greece, and Presque Isle; two grandchildren, Nicholas Ktorides of New York City and Elizabeth Ktorides of Athens, Greece; and one great-grandson, Matthew Ktorides of New York City. Jeannette was pre-deceased by er parents, Ralph and Rebecca (Estabrook) Berry; her husband, the love of her life, M. Harvard "Harv" Whitten, a brother, Harold "Bud" Berry.
