| About Me | First and foremost a servant, for he who would be first, must serve all. Who I am: I am a new creation in Christ Jesus (Corinthians 5:17), of the household of faith. Having received salvation by faith in Jesus Christ not of works lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:5), not of works which is of the law. Nothing that I do, good or bad can change God’s love for me, but these things will affect my relationship with him. Sin can affect my blessing and favor with God. So it is my desire to flee sin, and be clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. What I believe: There is one God, the great “I AM” and there is no other. That my God created the heavens and the earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th. Genesis 1, 2:3 That God’s plan and creation of man was designed for fellowship. That God loves and cares for all his creation but designed man above the rest, creating him in his image and likeness. (Genesis 2:26) That God made woman from the rib of man to be a help and a mate. (Genesis 2:18-21) That sin entered into the world by Adam. Because of sin, God so loved the world that he gave his only son, (John 3:16) to redeem us from our sin and restore fellowship. Jesus Christ came as a babe in a manger, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and was crucified for our sins. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) He was beaten and bruised for our sins and iniquities. (1 Peter 2:24) He took stripes on his body for our healing. All that is necessary for life and godliness is provided by him, and whosoever believes in him the Lord shall be saved. (John 3:15) One day Jesus will come again and take me to heaven and so shall I ever be with the Lord. (John 14:3) My Mission: To know him and the power of his resurrection. (Philippians 3:10) To go into all the world and preach the gospel. (Matthew 10;27) To be transformed into his image by the renewing of my mind daily. (Romans 12:2)To study and show my self approved. To do good. (2 Corinthians 9:8)To keep the commandments. (1 John 3:24)To give to those who need. To love my neighbor as myself.(James 2:8) This is a tall order but I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13) Being a faithful steward of the body he has given me to dwell in. Caring for it...(read more) |
