Edith King died of kidney failure on June 23, 2001. She was survived by her daughter Gloria (Aaberg) Gillespie, her sisters Alice, Francis and Dorothy and a brother Ken Frazier and husband Richard King. She was predeceased in death by her son Ronald Terry Aaberg.
