She was born in Chicago, Ill. on January 24, 1949, the daughter of Richard C. and Shirley (nee: Burns) Anderson. Dawn was a graduate of William Horlick High School and received her Degree in Accounting from Carthage College. She had been employed at Bardon Rubber in Union Grove as a Cost Accountant for many years until the company closed. Dawn was a member of St. Richard's Parish. She enjoyed reading and horseback riding. Dawn is survived by her father, Richard Anderson of Racine; sister, Karen Anderson of Racine; and nephew, Derek Drohan of Austin, Texas. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley on January 20, 1993. Memorial services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Thursday, February 24, 2011, at 1 p.m. with Fr. Ronald Gramza officiating. Private entombment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.
