Class Of 1969 Reunion
Details:	Hoover Class of 1969 In 2024 we will celebrate 55 years since we graduated. Like a dependable clock your reunion committee has ramped up every 5 years in preparation of getting us all together. We are doing the same this time with a twist. Tom and Sandy Berg and Kit and Ronnie Meyer have served as the mainstays of each of our reunions planning. They have kept getting us together every 5 years. They have done a great job of planning events that were simple enough to allow us to catch up and enjoy the company of our classmates. They have decided to retire after all these reunions. They deserve our appreciation for all they have done. At this point I have no idea how many of the current committee will continue to serve but I imagine all of us will be around long enough to help get a new group started. I have hosted our Facebook site, maintained contact lists and attempted to get the word out about our get-togethers. Please send me any updated contact info for yourself or anyone you have information for. Email or call with any questions, concerns or suggestions. In addition, please let us know if you are interested in helping plan and host our 55 year reunion. Details:	Friday Aug 8th: 5pm-9pm Friday Fest at Walker Johnston Park in Urbandale, IA (9000 Douglas Avenue). Admission is $8 and includes 3 drink tickets. The band Stone Thro will be playing. We will be set up near the restrooms. There are usually some food vendors there serving burgers, brats, and pizza. Otherwise, the after hours location (Murphy's Bar & Grill) has great food! Rain Location/After Hours: 5pm - Mid. (or) 9pm - midnight. Murphy's Bar & Grill, 2675 100th Street, Urbandale, IA. If Friday Fest is rained out, then we will meet at Murphy's Bar & Grill in Urbandale at 5pm. If not rained out, then this will be the after hour location following Friday Fest starting at 9pm. Saturday Aug 9th: 6pm - midnight. Angelo's on 8th Street (former Jimmy's American Cafe), 1238 8th Street, West Des Moines, IA. Cash bar and food available. Sunday Aug 10th: 10am-11am. Breakfast at Machine Shed (by Living History Farms on Hickman).

Hoover High School Class of 1969
Location:	Cub Club
Details:	The weekend starts on Friday 8/8 with a gathering in Beaverdale beginning at Saints (formerly Michaels) on Urbandale Ave. and possibly migrating (crawling) to Beaver Tap (formerly Bon Ton), Tally's, Goodsons, and Christophers. Saturday night 8/9 is booked at The Cub Club at Sec Taylor Stadium at Principal Park from 7 to 12. We will have food,cash bar, and music from the 60's and 70's. Sunday 8/10 will find us at the Bud Tent at the Iowa State Fair starting at 11AM.Chan Wallace will be giving tours at the "Hall of Law" We will be "LIVE" on classmates.com in a few days.
