About Me For those who know be best would say, I am like no other! Some have traveled alongside thru the death of my mother and some during my lowest dealing with many lonely days of Depression. Always still striving for better no matter what is put in my way! Granted I have my moments- good & bad- I still look forward and continue with a smile! I know that I will be spending each moment of each day for the rest of my life trying to find true happiness and LOVE & am realizing that I cannot control every aspect of my life but rather should act upon what is presented to me and choose accordingly! My life has grown tremendously since the passing of my mother, I am a mother of three boys- ages 13, 12, & 6 yrs of age. I am beautiful, classy, strong and independent whose heart is filled with love and compassion to all who are around me whether socially or professionally. Professionally, I work as a Substitute Teacher for the Fresno Unified School District. I work in Education because it is an area where I can use my skills attained over the years to help create solid long term relationships with students and other valuable members of my community fostering the overall success of the students' Education. Everyday in the classroom counts, Fresno Unified is counting on the expertise of substitute teachers to provide high quality instruction and ensure that the learning continues in the absence of the teacher. Being a substitute teacher is a rewarding, invaluable experience. It provides the opportunity to make a true and lasting difference in the lives of our youth while exploring different teaching options. It is the first step to a long-term career as an educator at Fresno Unified. Being a part of the success of students' educational accomplishments encourages me to be a better educator each and everyday. So my life motto is to try to live my life to the fullest with all that is given for tomorrow is not promised so live for today! It's on The Lord's Time &...(read more)
