About	Patrick Michael Gardner, 18, Fair Avenue, Honesdale, was found dead Wednesday, October 29 in Honesdale. Born in Falls Church, Virginia, son of Marcella Layton and the late Richard B. Gardner, Sr., he had lived in Honesdale for 17 years and graduated from Honesdale High School in 1986. He was a trailer mechanic with Canal Coaches, White Mills, and was a member of St. John's Church, Honesdale. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Richard Jr., Honesdale, RD 3, and Stephen, at home; a sister, Colleen, at home; his paternal grandmother, Gertrude Boyce, Binghamton, NY; maternal grandmother, Helen Layton, Honesdale; two nephews, and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Internment, East Dyberry Cemetery, Honesdale. Casketbearers were Ronald David, Eric Duley, Joel Johnson, Kevin Kroll, Greg Neugebauer, Jeff Heier, Dave Gustin, and Larry Patrino.
