Favorite School Memory | There are so many....! All the adventures I had with my clogging I’ve seen some beautiful places, met some amazing celebrities and been to some very cool places and festivals. The FAMOUS sling shot incident in Ms. Scoles class with my amazing friend Amanda Cook. She’s a sniper…. ???? Riding around with my brother from another mother Zach Maker in the green Ford Granada hoopty. In class with Zach especially in Mr. V’s Spanish class doing my Hank Hill impressions and making my friends laugh. All the pick up basketball games we played in gym class. All he half court bombs I could sink playing horse. All the antics I had with my other brother from another monther Patrick… We did some funny shit and it was incredibly fun! I miss you brother, you were taken from us way before your time. Rest in peace. I regret I wasn't there to see your wedding or there when you got sick. I'm so so sorry Patrick, if I let you down I’m so so sorry my friend. Then there was a certain lovely girl whom I would always pick up at her aunts house in my trusty blue neon, and we would drive around for hours just talking and listening to music. To me, she has been and always will be the most beautiful woman in Hominy, OK. Unfortunately, I wasn't very good at talking to girls in high school, nor picking up on vibes and I never gathered the courage to ask her out. I was just too nervous. Now, I’ve lost touch with her, and we no longer communicate. If she ever happens to read this, I want her to know she remains the most beautiful woman in the world in my eyes. To this day I still have a gold necklace, earrings and a beautiful ring that I bought for her and never gathered enough courage to give her. I definitely miss our time and conversations, she’d always call me from college at Claremore and catch up and continue our conversations. Unfortunately when I got married my now ex-wife was extremely jealous of her. This lovely lady worked in Cleveland at Walmart at the time and my ex-wife basically banned me from even making eye contact with her. My ex-wife also managed to push or drive away most of my high school friends and I am sorry. I truly miss talking to this lovely lady and follow her on Facebook. I truly hope she is happy and loving life. My favorite musician Garth Brooks sings a song “More Than A Memory” that always makes me think of her. My advice to all youngsters is you will miss and regret 100% of the shots you don’t take. You will always regret it, I know I do. I always think if I had just a nudge from a friend to tell this lovely lady how I feel. If I had just a bit more bravery to just ask her...(read more) |
