About	Donald T. Lynch 64, of Sabattus St. Lewiston died Wednesday morning in the arms of his loving wife Claudette, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, after a more than courageous battle with cancer. Don was born in Chicago, IL on August 21, 1951 a son of the late Timothy J. and Laura C (Hagen) Lynch. He was educated in Chicago and graduated from Homewood-Flossmor High School class of 1969. He married his one true love Claudette C. Chabot in Homewood IL on May 20, 1972. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Wisconsin and later settled in Lewiston Maine in 1999. He was an area supervisor for American Greetings for over 32 years. He later became a manager in training for Reny’s until his retirement in 2014 and always helped his wife in her ceramic business. Don was an amazing husband and dad, when he was diagnosed with cancer he fought with everything he had to beat the odds, which he did because he lived longer than any doctor gave him. You very rarely saw Don, without Claudette by his side and that’s where she was when he took his last breath. Don was a member of Holy Family Church in Lewiston. He loved Maine especially being at the coast. When times were tough for him and Claudette nothing gave them more peace than driving to the coast. In the past few years they have taken many rides together to the coast to cherish their time together. Don also loved Christmas, he loved to decorate and time spend with family. He was an avid Red Sox Fan and followed the Green Bay Packers. His greatest joy of all was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He leaves his wife of 43 years Claudette Lynch of Lewiston, his two children Julie Lynch of Lewiston and Timothy Lynch and his wife Kala of Mechanic Falls, his three grandchildren Ali, Izzy, and Deklynn, a sister Arlene Lynch of CT and a brother Richard Lynch and wife Holly of CA, two aunts and several nieces nephews and cousins.
