| About Me | My first two years of High School were at Homestead, I wanted the last two to be at Homestead, but I didn't have a choice. My father's job transferred our family to Oregon, and so my Junior and Senior years were at Lake Oswego HS. I was NOT a happy camper there, especially as at that time there was a lot of animosity towards Californians moving to Oregon. As soon as I could after graduation I was OUT of that state : it was back to CA for college !!!!!!! To this day I have wonderful memories of growing up in California and living there as an adult for a time too. But my husband's teaching job brought us back to Oregon, and then onto Washington. And I absolutely LOVE all the natural beauty in this state, it is a good home for us. I thought about coming to the reunion because of it being the 50th, but the reunion date is actually my older son's Birthday, and as he lives nearby (actually both our sons do) , I will be spending it with him/my family.
