| Favorite School Memory | It is not events I remember as much as people. I recall being fairly marginal to the mainstream student body. I know the myth is that all teenagers feel like outsiders. But being a Native American, brown skinned, and poor at Homestead in 1965 was definitely to be marginalized. I was fortunate to have a small group of friends, Jackie Purdy (who was my best friend), Greg Best, Leo Lynch, Craig Rabein(wrong spelling) and Mary Bacci(wrong spelling) and a couple of others.
