Mrs. Smith was a long time math teacher at Homestead in the 60s&70s. I had her for two different classes and was inspired by her. I taught for 31 years and can only hope that I had a fraction of the impact on students that she had. Mrs. Smith and I remained friends over the years. She was the greatest teacher I ever had!
