Class of 1956
Navy, 20+ Years
I attended Holtville High (but did not graduate). I graduated from San Jose State and Navy OCS in Newport, RI. I was commissioned Ensign, USNR and served 5 years at sea. I completed 20 years by remained in the Reserve........retiring at age 60

James Dickey
Class of 1966
Navy, 3 Years
I Entered the Navy in June 1967, and after Recruit Training and Storekeeper "A" School in San Diego, I was Stationed on US Naval Station Midway Island for 1968. After Midway I went to Naval Amphibious Base, oronado, for Pre Vietnam Training, and on 11 Feb 1969 I landed at Da Nang Vietnam. I worked at the covered storage facility until April 70 and was transferred to Naval Support Facility, Cam Ranh Bay. Upon returning to CONUS, I was separated with an Honorable Discharge.
