| About Me | Worked in Cincinnati after High School until I married in 1962. Husband Bob was stationed in the Coast Guard in Cincinnati and later was transferred to the Knoxville station. He retired in 1967 with 20 years' service, and we continued to reside in the Knoxville area. He passed in 2003, and I stayed in Knoxville. In November 2024, I moved to an assisted living complex in Franklin to be closer to family. Bob and I never had children, but I have four nieces and four nephews (one nephew deceased), my brother Walter's children, who helped me move from Knoxville and is taking care of me. I currently reside at Springs Hills Assisting Living in Franklin. I love my new apartment and all the arrangements completed by my niece Linda Champ Cole and her husband Carl of Middletown along with my niece Laure Champ Cawood of Mason. I also have a nephew Chris Champ from Mason as well. My other two nieces Sue and Carol along with my nephew Bob lives in Florida. My nephew Larry lives in Georgia. My nephew David from Cincinnati, passed in February 2024. All eight of my nieces and nephews grew up in Mason and all are graduates of Mason High School. I'm so happy to be back ...(read more) |
