| About Me | College, some work towards a masters, worked at hospitals in Maine, Boston, Bronx,NY. worked in husbands pediatrac practice. married Eugene Peters 1961 (love of my life) worked as he completed a PhD in philosophy in Boston, Oxford England and as he taught at Colby college where he was tenured. We had three children Bill (who is intellectual challenged as the new discription goes with an unknown etiology) , Ellen ( who works at a college in WA, married to Jeff Soifer and has three children), Daniel (who is profoundly deaf as a result of my having Rubella during pregnancy. he is married to Patrick Harris and they life and work in Vermont). After teacking for 9 years we moved to The Bronx where Gene went to Einstein medical school and I worked at the Einstein Hospital. After residency we moved back to Waterville Maine and opened a private practice in pediatrics. We retired about 5 years ago and now live in a retirement community (a wonderful community with great neighbors). We planned to sleep until we were 120 to catch up on lost sleep over our sleep deprived 50 years. Long story short we are busy and will save extra sleep for another life.
