Sue and I had been friends since 7th grade. And we corresponded regularly over the years, thanks to FB and other sources.
We took Mrs. Jalowitz’s spanish class and made up names for each other. Sue was Ualla and I was Joselita.
Even though we went different directions in our adult lives, I know she was as connected to animals (dogs, cats, horses) as I am.
I miss her very much!
