Class of 1950
It's frustrating to know, that for at least 4 years, I have been trying to have the first ALL CITY SWIM TEAM PLACED ON THE ATHELETIC HALL OF FAME.
For some reason efforts to have this accomplished has been ignored. Hollywood High School should be proud of this accomplishment.
A later All City Swim Team is recognised, but not the 1949 team--WHICH WAS THE FIRST swim team in the history of H.H.S., and we did this without a swimming pool! WHY IS IT SO HARD TO BE RECOGNISED?
THIS IS MY LAST ATTEMPT TO GET THIS DONE--I WILL TURN 81 TOMORROW--so, form now on--"FRANKLY, SCARLET I DON'T GIVE A DAMN."
