About Me	Enlisted in the Air Force before graduating in 1965. My first assignment after basic training was George AFB, California where I met my wife of 57 years on a Friday the 13th and it was a blind date. Tours of duty: George AFB Calif., Alaska, Edwards AFB Calif., NKP AFB Thailand (Vietnam War), Vandenberg AFB Calif., March AFB Calif., Ankara Air Station Turkey, March AFB Calif., and finally Vandenburg AFB Calif. where I retired after 21 years of military service on 1 Aug 1985. I went to work again for the Air Force as a civilian Defense Contractor on Vandenberg for another 27 years and retired from that job on 1 Feb 20212.
