About	John joined the Navy in 1949 and married Janice Grower in 1950 with whom he had 8 children 6 of which are still surviving. John retired from US Airways in 1992 after33 years of service. He suffered with Parkinsons for the last 10 years. He loved to hunt and spend his summers at his camp in New Berlin NY
