Obituary from 2001: Valerie J. Hanna, 57, senior vice-president for technology for Marsh & McLennan, died at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Valerie is survived by her husband of 29 years, Glenn Hughes of Freeville, NY, daughters Lydia Robertson and Denene Ray, foster son Victor Arencibia, mother Joan Haviland, stepmother Mary Hanna, brother Sherman Hanna, sisters Kathleen Hanna and Barbara Hanna, and three granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her father Patrick Hanna and son Joel Robertson. Memorial services will be at 10 AM September 29 at 295 13th St in Brooklyn and at 1 PM, September 30, at the First Unitarian Church of Ithaca, NY.
