I joined the Army in 1997 as a Signal Support Specialist, but with my past not being squeeky clean I had to reclass to a Fuel System Supply Specialist. Basically I pump gas into all types of military vehicals and aircraft. I'm glad things worked out the way they did or else I wouldn't have met my wife. I'm currently still in the military as a member of the Michigan Nationl Guard, 1st squadron 126th Calvary Delta Company 237th BSB (Hunters). I plan on staying in the military until I retire or until I can't do it anymore.

Marine Corps, 4 Years, highest rank Captain, Marine Vietnam veteran 1968-1969
Married wife, Cheryl, in 1969 in between time I returned from Vietnam and went with Battalion of Marines on Med Cruise. We have 3 kids, one daughter and two adopted boys. Interestingly, when I was in Naples Cheryl met me and presented me with application documentation to join the FBI. I signed paperwork and after returning back to Lejeune, I was called and asked to go to Charlotte, NC and have an interview with the FBI Senior Agent. On 5 Feb 1971 is discharged from the USMC. On 1 March 1971 I was promoted to Captain. On the 30 June 1979 I was Honorably Discharged from the USMC.
On 25 April 1972 I received my appointment letter signed by J. Edgar Hoover to become an FBI Special Agent. My 1st office was Cleveland, and from there New York, Chicago and became a Supervisory Special Agent within the FBI Technical Services Division, Engineering Section. My talents were needed and my career expanded and I traveled with 2 other three letter agencies. I was at the Berlin Wall when it came down. In 1999 I retired from the FBI and went on for 10 more years working with Raytheon as a Program Manager. I have designed buildings and office space for these other agencies. I currently have designed shooting ranges for the BSA in Northern VA. I have worked with hundreds of Scouts to become Eagle Scouts. In May 2019 I will be receiving the BSA Silver Beaver award for select BSA leaders.
