About Me	For the last 37 years, I have been a math teacher in the Killeen Independent School District in Killeen, Texas, which is about 60 miles from Austin. My husband, Mike, is retired Army and is currently working at the Adjutant General's Office in Austin as a purchacing agent for the state of Texas. About 6 years ago we built our dream home on 3 acres in the country near Salado. We are the proud parents of 2 boys and grandparents of 4 precious grandchildren ranging in age from 4-10, 2 girls and 2 boys. At the end of this school year, we plan to retire and travel in a upgraded new 40' foot fifth wheel for at least 5-6 months during the sizzling hot summer months that we as Texans have to deal with. For the last 6 years we have traveled in our 28 foot travel trailer for about a month in the summer to all the western/northwestern states that border Canada, British Columbia, and Alberta.
