With sadness our reunion committee has decided to cancel our 60th class reunion picnic that was scheduled for Thursday October 7th from 11:00 - 3:00 in Tahoe Park. The Covid-19 disease is still a serious problem and accounts for filling more than half of most hospital ICU beds. None of us is young and many in our class have health issues which concern us. None of us wish to risk passing or contracting the Covid-19 disease to or from our classmates. We are so sorry for the change in plans.

Our plans for our 61st Anniversary celebration are essentially the same plans as the 60th Anniversary Picnic (60thAP) – except a year later. We plan a midday get together (11am-3pm) at the Gazebo in Tahoe Park (rain or shine) on Thursday, October 6, 2022. We had originally proposed the 60thAP before there were vaccines and we had hoped the disease would be well under control by the fall of 2021 and we would not find it necessary to cancel. Well, we cancelled the 60thAP. We hope using vaccinations, common sense, and new social mores we won’t have to cancel the 61stAP! We wish you all good health in the coming year!

Please reply whether you plan to attend or not so we can notify you if we must cancel and to update our contact lists. If you know of classmates who have passed, we would appreciate your sending that information to us. Feel free to email if you have any questions. Because we do not have addresses for all of our classmates, please pass the word to others.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you on October 6, 2022.
