About Me	In 2013, I have had to deal with a great deal of grieving. For a long time I did not speak of many of my life experiences. With the loss of a friend Dawnette Kirkpatrick (murdered, and finding her dead in her room) I was able to get deep into my issues. I am a survivor of the Big Thompson Flood of 1976, I lost my childhood sweetheart Kim Horton in that flood. Finding her the next day was just more than what I could handle. It is important to share these things with the ones you love so to find a new perspective on life. Holding it in only creates problems, not only for you, for others as well. I would only “tinker” with flight, running away from the truth. I would turn to my pride, but I could not get “off it”, riding past the loss and taking flight. Holding it in like beaver dams up a creek, there was no release. I could not get back the basics of whence I was born, with a freedom, a state of being freeborn, forgiving. Taking “the pass” on opening up, is taking a chance on new life, means taking a risk. Relationships were next to impossible with such tragedy towering over me. It is a bullet that is hard to bite on. As someone who studies others, I also study myself. I would like to include that the AA program has helped me out a lot, So, if there is anyone I can make amends with, I would do anything I could to make things right.
