Favorite School Memory	The loving care of WONDERFUL FRIENDS and their MOTHERS. GREAT TIMES in a small town with FINE PEOPLE. THE DRAG!!! TACKERS! I stood on the sidewalk and people would pick me up and take me to church. Hillsboro ~~ A WONDERFUL Place to LIVE.
About Me	in 1965 I married the love of my life, MIke, a Chemical Engineer. I worked as an RN on M. DeBakey's int. Heart Unit. I returned to Lamar for my BS in Speech Pathology. I wanted children but not Nurse Hours. Masters at Univ. of NO. Fl. I was an SLP for 30 years. LOVED it. Great children who have been successful and SUPER Grand kids. In 2000 I began as a Licensed Local Pastor in the United Methodist church and also attended Course of Study at Emory Univ. I was Pastor at 2 churches. I ENJOYED serving so much. BUT I wanted more family time after ret. from the Public school system in 2006 and so finished as Pastor in 2009. Presently, enjoying Grandchildren and being free to go and do whatever here in NC. Hawaii this yr. as well as a great family time in Lake Tahoe. ENJOYING LIFE w my Dear Mike, and 2 of 3 children here in NC w 6 of the 10 grands and closer to our daughter in the DC area. ...(read more)
