About Me	Grew up in Hillsboro, and lived at the same small farm on NW Camp Ireland Rd. until after graduating from HilHi in '69. Went into the Army National Guard the fall of '69 and spent the winter at Ft. Lewis near Tacoma in Washington. Went to Portland State beginning in '70 and lived in Portland off of Barbur Blvd & SW 30th for about 2 years. Left PSU and went to work for the City of Hillsboro, Engineering Department. Worked on the survey crew, and then moved up to inspecting projects dealing with streets, water and sewer line installations. Worked there for 6 years. Bought a small house on Edison St. in Hillsboro in '72 for $15K (can't buy a car for that now...) Went to work at Tektronix January, '78 in the Facilities Engineering Department and worked there for Tek or an outsourced Facilities Group until July of 2006. Met Bette Hune the weekend before the 4th of July in '78 and we got married on Columbus Day, Oct. 12th. Still married .... but don't know how she's put up with me all of these years... We had 3 wonderful kids Built our first house on property out on Camp Ireland Rd and lived there for 32 years, until building and moving into our present home in Banks. Love being back out in the country again. Jennie, now married to Wes Ramirez has 2 kids,(a girl and a boy) and lives on an adjacent property to us.
