About	Born Aug. 23, 1946 in Portland, Rick was raised in Hillsboro by his grandparents, Oscar and Myrtle Olson. He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1964, and served in the Army during the Vietnam era. Rick moved to Oceanside, Ore., in 1982 and worked for many years as a manger for Ocean Front Cabins. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan, and his barbecues were famous - it was a privilege to be invited to share his feast. Rick is survived by his son Rick Olson; three grandchildren; and many friends.
