About Me	Born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Attended elementary school at Arthur Kramer, graduated from Hillcrest High School. After graduation, I moved to Kilgore where I attended Kilgore Junior college to study agriculture. From there, I transfered to Texas A&M University to receive a Bachelor of Science from the College of Agriculture focus in Recreation and Parks/Range Science. After graduation, I moved back to Dallas where I joined the Dallas Police Department; served as an officer in old east Dallas and Downtown area from 1976 to 1981. During this time I met the love of my life, Cheryl Ruth, at Park Cities Baptist Church. We soon began dating after meeting in the singles department; and married April 15, 1978. We decided to add to our family, and the Lord blessed us with a beautiful son, Daniel Christopher in 1980. As Cheryl says, the hottest summer on record! Shortly after, the Lord led us to East Texas to the small town of Canton. We began operating Bridgefarmer Feed and Fertilizer. My father, Joe Clay and I also started a feed manufacturing business; Bridgefarmer Milling; where we manufactured molasses blocks. The Lord then gave Cheryl and I our next blessing a beautiful baby girl, Alicia Renee', November 23, named for a Hurricane and and still blowing strong! Once again our Lord change our direction and left retail and manufacturing business and started as an Agent for Texas Farm Bureau Insurance selling insurance while continuing farm operation at Bridgefarmer Cattle Company on top of Mt Pisgah. Funny how I ended up in insurance business as my Uncle Roy once asked me thirty five years earlier about going into insurance. Since then two new blessings have come into my life.
