About	Obituary for Robert "Bob" Salley Robert (Bob) L. Salley, Sr., 66, of Springfield, passed away to his Heavenly home on January 9, 2015, at Mercy Hospital after a long illness. He was born October 23, 1948, in Springfield, MO to Lloyd and Martha (Sheridan) Salley who preceded him in death. Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara of 45 years; his son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Shelly Salley; grandsons, Joshua, Kaleb and Kyle Salley; sisters, Jennifer (Phillip) Welch and Julie (Doug) Gibson; aunt, Annabelle Sheridan; brother-in-law, B.W. (Marilyn) Jackson of Amarillo, TX; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Bob graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1966. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army as a Combat Engineer. Bob retired from the Ozark Correctional Center in Fordland. He was raised in the Christian faith and was a member of Dale Street United Methodist Church (now Pathways United Methodist Church). Bob loved to hunt, fish and garden. Family was very important to Bob and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015, from 6-8 P.M. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Chapel, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, MO. Services will be held at 2 P.M., January 15, 2015, in the chapel. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. The family is requesting memorial donations to be made to the D.A.V. Chapter 11, 1708 E. St. Louis St., Springfield, MO 65802.
