About Patricia Sue Gannon, 66, of Shell Knob, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Patricia was born December 12, 1944, in Springfield, Missouri to Richard and Mildred Crinklaw, who preceded her in death. Surviving is her faithful, loving husband of 25 years, Ronald Gannon; her son, Jeffrey Gammill and wife Vickie of Bolivar, Mo; daughters, Jennifer Robb and husband Eric of Shell Knob, Mo., Julie McDonough and husband, Wade of McKinney, Texas, Tresa Clarkson and husband Terry of Rogersville, Mo., Darla Gannon of Springfield, Mo., Paula Snyder and husband Tony of Ozark, Mo; brothers, Richard Crinklaw and wife Betty of Grand Junction, Colo. and Will Crinklaw and wife Gloria of Willard, Mo.; sisters, Joann Claxton of Springfield, Mo. and Rose Marie Cutter and husband Ron of Springfield, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. Pat was raised in Springfield, Missouri and graduated from Hillcrest in 1962. She earned her college degree and worked as an accountant for many years. Pat spent many hours serving for various organizations through the years such as Apple Butter Making Days Committee, Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, Relay for Life and Noah's Ark Preschool.
Pat loved her church, her brothers and sisters in Christ and joyfully sang with the choir the praises of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at every opportunity. Patricia and Ron have spent their retirement years in Shell Knob enjoying many hours on their boat fishing and entertaining their grandchildren. Pat was a master gardener, she spent many days in the garden and loved to teach her kids and grand kids all the pleasures of gardening. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, in Central Community United Methodist Church, Shell Knob, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Interment will immediately follow at Lake Park Memorial Gardens, Shell Knob. The family request in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to Noah's Ark Preschool in Shell Knob or Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
