About	Retired Lance Corporal James N. Wilson passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007, in his home surround by family and friends. James was born February 20, 1941, in Springfield, MO., to Glen and Ethel Wilson. While serving his country, he was injured in Vietnam on December 25, 1965. He lived a fulfilling life in Springfield with the loving care of his mother. He was a member of the Marine Corp League, the Gate of the Temple Lodge #422, the Demolay, VFW Post 3404, the Disabled Veterans, and American Legion Post #69. He was preceded in death by his father Glen W. Wilson; brother Waverly G. Wilson; and nephew Christopher M. Wilson. He is survived by his mother, Ethel B. Wilson of the home; aunts, Marie Eslinger and Retha Blair, both of Springfield, MO., and Merle Blair of Fair Grove, Mo.; sister-in-law, Donna Wilson of Wichita, Kan.; nephews, Michael Wilson and Mark Wilson of Wichita, Kan., Richard Wilson of Joplin, M., and Tim Wilson of Hayesville, Kan.; and several cousins. The family will receive visitors in Greenlawn Funeral Home North this evening, October 17, 2007, from 6 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday, October 18, 2007, at 1 p.m. where James will be laid to rest in full Marine military honors.
