About	A Celebration of Life service for Evelyn Byrd Struble will be at 3 00 p.m. Monday August 22 2011 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Evelyn was born on August 15, 1928 in Ventura, California the daughter of Leslie E. and Elizabeth L. "Short" Byrd. She was a longtime vocal music teacher with the Springfield public Schools and surrounding communities. She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sisters. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Claude Scott of Knob Knobster, MO; and nephew and his wife, Bruce and Angela of Nashville, Tennessee. She was loved and adored by many of her former students. Memorials are suggested in Evelyn's name to the charity of the donors choice. [Spfd News Leader dated Aug. 20-21, 2011]
