Mr. Larry Blane Thomas, age 64, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2006 in St. John’s Regional Medical Center. He was born June 27, 1941 in Springfield, MO., to Lowell and Gladys (Euliss) Thomas. He was a retired bricklayer, and loved fishing and car racing. His father precedes him in death. Larry is survived by his wife, Ann, of the home; his mother and stepfather, Gladys and Jim Harris of Springfield; a son, Eric Thomas of Springfield; four grandchildren; three brothers, Terry Thomas of Stockton, Butch Harris of Springfield, and Tommy Harris of Ozark. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 23, 2006, at 10 a.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Burial to follow in Bass Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the funeral home. In lieu of plants and flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The Child Advocacy Center, Inc. Springfield, MO.
