Wesley "Leon" Joy, 63, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, January 1 after a 13-year battle with his health. Leon was born in Lompoc, Calif., on July 11, 1944, to Raymond and Eva Joy. His life was lived in Springfield, Mo., with his wife of 42 years. He married Linda Kay Morris on January 28, 1966, and to this union, five children were born: sons Wesley J. and wife, Kimberly, Rich and wife Jenny, Brad and wife Christine, David and wife Margaret, all of Springfield, and daughter, Teresa, of Buffalo. Leon was very proud of his 12 grandchildren: Alex, Amber, Ashley, Austin, Brandon, Casey, Eric, Kodi, Matt, Michael, Taylor and T.J.
