About	Charles H. "Chuck" Freeman, 63, peacefully went to be with his Savior on July 5, 2008, in his home in Springfield, Mo., Chuck was born in Springfield, on July 16, 1944, to Edmond L. and Jewell E. (Patterson) Freeman. He married Sally A. Roberts on February 19, 1966, in New Testament Baptist Church. From this union two sons were born, Chuck was employed with Burlington Northern Railroad for 32 years before retirement in 1998. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Ed, and son Kelley Don Freeman. He is survived by his wife, Sally of the home, son C. Brian Freeman, Ozark; mother Jewell E. (Freeman) Riddle and husband Herschel; two brothers, Jim Freeman and wife Nancy of Springfield, Bob Freeman, Strafford, Mo., and two grandsons, Jack and Jake. He is also survived by four nephews and three nieces and many friends and relatives. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 8 in Greenlawn Funeral Home South, 441 W. Battlefield, Springfield, MO, with services on Wednesday, July 9, 15 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery, Springfield, Mo., [Spfd News Leader dated 08 Jul 2008; SSDI]
