About	Funeral services for Miss Mary Margaret Allen, 18, of 621 Bell, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Grant Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Blake Westmoreland and the Rev. Claude Barclay officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery under direction of Klingner. Miss Allen was dead on arrival at Burge-Protestant Hospital at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday after she collapsed on a date. An autopsy Thursday morning revealed �not definite cause of death,� but laboratory tests are continuing. Born and reared in Springfield, Miss Allen was a 1966 graduate of Hillcrest High School where she was drum captain of the Highlanders Drum Corps and a member of the band and orchestra. Miss Allen also was a member of the Springfield Youth Symphony and Band and had toured with the Southwest Missouri State College Concert Band. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Allen, of the Bell address, and a sister, Mrs. De Anna Carter, Columbia. The casket will be closed at services. [ Spfd News Leader dated August 12, 1966]
