About	John W. Hillenburg, 61, went to his heavenly reward, June 4, 2003, after a long and courageous battle with various health problems. He was the son of Wilbur and Minnie Hillenburg, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Letha Trantham Hillenburg in 1987, a daughter, Melissa Hillenburg, and a sister, Kay Frances Hillenburg. He is survived by his wife, Fay Brophy Hillenburg, of the home; his daughter, Michele Burk and her husband, Gary, of Springfield; a grandson, Aaron Burk; a stepson, Gene Wright and his wife, Linda of Nixa; three step-granddaughters, Jennifer, Stacie, and Cindi Wright; and a step-grandson, Joe Wright. He is also survived by two sisters, Wanda Dixon and her husband, Greg, Rockledge, FL, and Juanita Westrup and her husband, Henry, State of Alaska; one brother, George Hillenburg and his wife, Linda, Strafford; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends. Funeral services wil be Saturday, June 7, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association or the Kidney Foundation with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
