About	Battlefield -- Peggy L. Lugo, 59, Battlefield, Mo., departed from this life at 5:49 p.m. July 29, 2001, after an apparent heart attack. Peggy was born July 25, 1942, in Springfield to Robert and Elma Deeds. She was a wife, a mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her loving husband, Cruz Lugo; three daughters, Sheri Ratliff and her husband, Robert, Donna Romines and her husband, Kevin, and Debbie Prugger and her husband, Richard; two sons, Robert Durbin, and David Durbin, all of Springfield; two stepdaughters, Laura Alerida, Lebanon, and Armida Lopez and her husband, Tony, Las Vega, Nev.; one stepson, Cruz Lugo and his wife, Wanda, La.; one brother, Robert Deeds and his wife, Joyce; one sister, Brenda Land, all of Springfield, Mo.; her cherished and beloved fifteen grandchildren, Laken and Robbie Romines, Alex Smith, Jade Durbin, Jaclyn Ratliff, Hunter and Joey Durbin, Adrea, Aaron and Ashley Alerida, Kaitlyn Lugo, Trinity Lopez, and Ryan, Max and Brad Prugger. Peggy will finally have the home at the lake. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2001 in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with the Rev. Richard Eakins officiating. Cremation will follow services and burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. [Spfd News Leader dated August 01, 2001; SSDI]
